An endocrinology practice in Sugar Land, Texas is seeking a full-time, part-time, or PRN Registered Dietitian / Diabetes Educator to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Educating patients on diabetes self-management
- Including pathophysiology, medications, monitoring, nutrition, physical activity, acute complications, chronic complications, psychosocial support, and goal setting and ongoing resources
- Educate patients using the diabetic program in compliance with the American Diabetic Association guidelines
- Providing education on CGMs and insulin pumps
- Assisting with professional CGM use and patient supplies
- Documentation in the EMR and support with education materials
This role is ideal for a motivated RD interested in diabetes care and outpatient endocrinology.
