We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant in Bellaire, TX to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high‑quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, acute care facilities, and specialized programs for geriatrics and pediatrics. Your expertise in physical therapy techniques will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications:
  • A degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
  • Experience or familiarity with geriatrics, pediatrics, outpatient settings, acute care, and orthopedics is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in physical therapy practices, including trigger point therapy and orthopedic techniques.
