The Assistant Business Manager supports the Business Manager and leadership team by coordinating financial, administrative, and operational activities to ensure smooth daily business operations. This role is responsible for helping manage budgets, track expenditures, prepare reports, and assist with office and project management tasks. The Assistant Business Manager acts as a liaison between departments and helps maintain compliance, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness across the business.

• Assist with preparing, monitoring, and updating departmental or organizational budgets.
• Track expenses, reconcile invoices, and support purchasing processes.
• Manage financial records, maintain documentation, and support audits.
• Help oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with policies.
• Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation, and internal communications.
• Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation.
• Draft and edit correspondence, presentations, and other business documents.
• Manage confidential information with discretion.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.

• 5 or more years of experience in operations accounting preferred with experience in a non-profit or school setting.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
