Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. This is a Contract position with high possibility of going permanent, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and receivable, along with proficiency in data entry and other accounting tools.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency.

- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

- Process invoices, ensuring timely and proper documentation.

- Utilize Quick Books to record and track financial transactions.

- Support basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries.

- Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records.

- Assist with the implementation and use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

- Prepare reports and summaries as needed to support decision-making processes.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations.

- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
