Full-Time Veterinary Assistant

Tidewater Animal Hospital – Suffolk, VA

Tidewater Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced, client-focused small animal practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to the pets of Suffolk and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in an animal hospital or veterinary clinic
  • Solid understanding of vaccine protocols (core vs. lifestyle)
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology
  • Proficient in safe restraint of dogs and cats
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
