The Home Health Registered Nurse - PPV is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders.
Primary functions of the Home Health Registered Nurse - PPV include planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, organizing, and directing home care services with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) including physician, patient/family, and referring agency. Additionally, s/he administers skilled nursing care for clients of all ages in their place of residence and assume the responsibility for the total provision of care.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical care setting or home health preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- Active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in state(s) of employment required.
- Current CPR certification required.
