Sentara Obici Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit on the day shift

The Med/Surg unit is the cornerstone of acute care nursing—and one of the best places to build clinical expertise, strengthen care coordination skills, and work as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse adult patient population
- Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and families to coordinate comprehensive care
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families to support safe and effective transitions of care
- Contribute to performance improvement and a culture of safety and accountability
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management
- Experience in medical-surgical or acute care preferred
- New graduate RNs are also encouraged to apply
