Work Shift: Third (Nights) – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Overview: Sentara Belle Harbour Emergency Department is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast‑paced, team‑centered Emergency Department. The role is full‑time on the night shift. Full‑time nurses have 16 hours of required call per 6 weeks; part‑time nurses have 12 hours per 6 weeks. Experienced RNs will complete a 10‑week orientation period on the unit. Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 may be available for qualified candidates.

Sentara Belle Harbour Emergency Department is located in North Suffolk, VA. The 24/7 facility includes 17 private emergency beds, three critical care rooms, orthopedic spaces, observational medicine rooms, and the capability to care for both adult and pediatric patients.

Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science Nursing (MSN) preferred
Certification/Licensure:
- Registered Nursing License (required)
- ACLS required prior to completion of orientation
- PALS required prior to completion of orientation
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
Experience:
- 2 years of Emergency Room experience (preferred)
- Critical care experience in hospital preferred
- 2 years of acute care Registered Nurse experience preferred
- Ability to manage complex cases in fast‑paced environments
- Strong communication with patients and providers
