Position: Part‑Time Pre‑Op/PACU Registered Nurse

Location: Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View

No weekends, no call, no holidays.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors. The Registered Nurse works with Senior Management in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred
• Licensure:
  Current license as a VA Registered Nurse
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
• Experience:
  
  2 years’ ambulatory experience preferred
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Provide leadership and support in developing and maintaining effective relationships with the center staff and the medical staff
• Maintain standards of nursing care within the Center in compliance with professional nursing standards and recommended perioperative procedures
