Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager in Suffolk, Virginia.

Job Summary

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities related to specific Clients or geographical areas.
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations, ensuring adherence to NEC, safety policies, and OSHA requirements.
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
• Represents the company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations and strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good client relationships.
• Travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience in projects over $10M, including mission-critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License at the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Business knowledge of vendors in the electrical construction industry.
• Ability to travel.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks as required.
