About the RoleWe’re looking for a Company Commercial Solicitor with around 5 years’ post-qualification experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be confident advising on a broad range of business matters including:
- Shareholder agreements and corporate structuring
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Commercial contracts
- Business sales and purchases
- Data protection and IP
You’ll be working closely with business owners, SMEs, and investors, offering practical, solutions-focused advice that helps clients grow, protect, and realise the value of their businesses. This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and taking the lead on transactional work.
You’ll also play a part in developing the practice area – contributing to client development, mentoring junior colleagues, and helping shape the firm’s commercial strategy.
What we’re looking for- 5+ years PQE in company/commercial law, ideally with exposure to owner-managed businesses and SMEs
- Strong technical knowledge and sound commercial judgement
- A proactive, client-focused approach with a track record of managing files independently
- Comfortable with networking, Business Development, and working across teams
- Confident in managing files independently and liaising with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in helping businesses thrive
- Full-time hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm - Occasional travel between offices may be required
