IM​/KM Lead

Valiant is looking for an Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM) Lead to join our team!

Valiant Integrated Services has a full-time, exempt position as an Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM) Support Analyst supporting the Collective Joint Training (CJT) contract for the Joint Staff J7 Deputy Directorate Joint Training and Exercises (JS J7 DD JTE). The CJT contract provides analytical, operational, technical, and administrative support for the execution of all phases of the Joint Training System (JTS) for large joint and combined military exercises.

Emphasis is on the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for Joint Staff and Combatant Command (CCMD) exercise events. This position supports one or more of DD JTE Divisions:
Chairman's Joint Exercise Division (CJExD), Deployable Training & Lessons Division (DTLD), Joint Technology & Simulation Division (JTSD), Programs and Operations Division (POD).

• Acts as a SharePoint site and content administrator to create, implement, and manage the DD JTE KM program.
• Develops and delivers technology solutions and training materials to best enable and instruct subordinate teams on operating procedures and best practices.
• Works in concert with Civilian and Military leaders to develop the Joint Training Handbook.
• Assists with the scheduling of Test Bays in the Facility.
• Support In processing activities as needed.
• Open / Close Test Bays as need.
• Maintains multiple classified and unclassified SharePoint Site Collections on DOD
  365 SPO, Intelink, the Joint Staff Portal and Shared Drives (SIPR/NIPR). Supports KM improvements and capabilities in maintaining a uniform design and structure to Site pages and Team Libraries.
• Develops and uses SharePoint based pages, libraries, lists, and calendars to provide a more dynamic, maintainable and sustainable coordinated operation picture (COP) for Operations, Administration, and Training.
• Enforces the information management foundation and structure of multiple Joint Training site collections on DOD
  365 SharePoint Online (SPO), Intelink, MS Outlook and other systems and applications as assigned.
• Manages and maintains Library and folder locations on the Joint Staff Portal and Shared Drives.
• Takes initiative to regularly evaluate processes and best practices to assess and recommend solutions for the Government customer.
• Provides analysis, recommendations, and develops solutions utilizing SharePoint and Office products, many that can be maintained routinely by division personnel.
• Optimizes 'out of the box' capabilities of both SharePoint and MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Promotes Knowledge Infusion and provides desk side, non-technical assistance, familiarity training, implementation and use of information and knowledge management best practices.
• Leads and coordinates IM/KM efforts across one or more DD JTE Division.
• Serves as the lead architect and owner of the DD JTE KM program, setting standards and governance, and directing SharePoint site and content administration across all supported divisions.
• Other Duties as required.
