Teach consumers appropriate strategies to manage behavioral and mental health symptoms
Assist with consumer service plans related to identified needs and goals
Assist consumers in gaining access to appropriate medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational and other support and services
Provide consumer training/reinforcement, linkage to supports/services
Advocate on behalf of consumer, family and providers
Behavior management and crisis intervention.
Qualifications and Skills for LE Clinician:Master’s Degree in Human Service field
Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work required
Five (5) years experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, substance abuse or who are dually diagnosed.
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record.
