Western Tidewater CSB is seeking a Mental Health Skill Builder for our Brain Injury Rehabilitation Support Team (BIRST).
Responsibilities and Duties for TBI Mental Health Skill Builder:
- Provide managed care, support, training, and interventions to assist individuals with acquiring new skills in daily living, problem solving, communication, and social skills.
- Responsible for creating and implementing individualized service plans to assist with achieving identified goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and additional documentation.
- Coordinate scheduling of regular ongoing appointments.
- Attend interdisciplinary team meetings.
TBI Mental Health Skill Builder:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field or accredited School/College
- Knowledge of TBI and PTSD
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or QMHP-T
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV driving record
