Overview

Outpatient Gastroenterologist Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team in Suffolk, Virginia
. This is an outpatient-only position located within a well-equipped medical center that features an on-site Endoscopy Suite, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Advanced Imaging Services.

You will provide comprehensive digestive health care in a collaborative environment, supported by advanced technology, strong clinical resources, and a dedicated care team.

• Split time between office and Ambulatory Surgery Center (Endoscopy Suite)
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, colorectal conditions, and more
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including:
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy
  • Polypectomy
  • Biopsy
• Interpret results of endoscopic, laboratory, and imaging studies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with GI and liver conditions
• APP supervision

• Provide services in Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach
• More than 300 providers including:
  • Primary Care
  • Specialty
  • APPs
• 75+ outpatient care clinics
