Job Title:Dispatch Lead / Customer Service Team Lead
Location: Suffolk, VA
Job Type: Contract
Max Pay Rate: $20/hr

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday
5:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST
(Saturday work may occasionally be required)

Work Environment:
100% Onsite – Office located at a distribution facility.

Role Overview

Seeking a Dispatch Lead / Customer Service Team Lead to support daily delivery operations and supervise customer service representatives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role acts as a central point of coordination between delivery teams, operational leadership, and customer support staff to ensure efficient routing, delivery monitoring, and service resolution.

Candidates should have experience with dispatch operations, route monitoring, and delivery coordination
.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Dispatch Support
  • Monitor delivery routes and support dispatch coordination

  • Communicate with delivery teams and resolve operational issues

  • Track delivery performance and operational metrics

Team Leadership
  • Supervise daily activities of a customer service team

  • Provide guidance and support for complex customer issues

  • Maintain performance metrics and team reports

Problem Resolution
  • Investigate escalated issues related to deliveries or customer service

  • Identify operational improvements to increase efficiency

  • Ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of customer service experience

  • 1+ year of team lead or supervisory experience

  • 1+ year of dispatch or route monitoring experience

  • Experience with
    Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in dispatch, logistics, or delivery operations

  • Experience working in call center or customer support environments

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
