The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional with a passion for delivering high-quality residential groundworks projects and the ability to manage multiple sites effectively. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while working collaboratively with clients, site teams, and commercial staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage health & safety across all sites
  • Produce and manage site-specific RAMS
  • Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and performance
  • Produce and manage contract programmes to ensure site teams meet programme, quality, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Manage and allocate appropriate plant, labour, and resources
  • Work closely with Commercial Team to maintain commercial control and work within Budget.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures and policies

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multiple large residential groundworks packages
  • Strong technical knowledge of groundworks
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety legislation
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Effective time management and prioritisation
  • Experience producing and maintaining programmes using Asta Power project or MS Project
  • Fully computer literate, including Microsoft Office
  • Full clean UK driving licence

Preferred Qualifications & Training

  • CSCS Managers Card
  • SMSTS
  • Temporary Works Coordinator
