Technical Administration Assistant

Position: Technical Administration Assistant (Permanent)
Technical Assistant - Eye - £28-30k (DOE)

We are currently seeking a Technical Assistant to support the Technical & Quality functions within our client's manufacturing site. This role plays a key part in ensuring product safety, technical compliance, customer satisfaction, and the smooth running of day‑to‑day technical operations.

Salary: £28-30K

Hours:

Monday - Friday [08:00AM-17:00PM]

Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and send product samples to external laboratories.
Make sure products meet safety standards before release and send the correct certificates to customers.
Carry out traceability checks and mass balance exercises.
Handle customer requests over email and provide technical information when needed.
Support with creating and updating product specifications.
Check production paperwork is completed correctly and file/organise it.
Keep supplier approval documents and records updated.
Support the team during customer visits and external audits

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working within manufacturing environments.
Experience working within Quality or Technical departments.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong team player with good relationship‑building skills
Able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
