Certified Care Assistant caregiver training & certification

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking to add Home Health Aide/ CNA's to join our team who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with all daily assigned activities, and ensure residents' safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. They should demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of resident care by using a sensitive approach.

Knowledge and compliance with all state resident rights are required. The Home Health Aide should maintain a safe and secure environment by following all standards and procedures and taking care of safety precautions.

• Supervision and assistance in bathing and dressing/undressing and other hygiene-related responsibilities
• Assistance in mobility and encouraging clients to follow prescribed exercise programs, which may include range of motion (ROM) exercises and walking
• Assistance in transferring the client from bed to chair or other equipment
• Assistance in turning and repositioning the client as prescribed, as well as care to pressure point areas (e.g., back rubs)
• Reminding about medications and helping with pre-dosed ones
• Housekeeping such as vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean bathroom and kitchen
• Laundry services
• Shopping for groceries and other household requirements (NOT APPLICABLE FOR NON-DRIVERS)
• Meal preparation and serving to clients, following all dietary requirements
• Transportation when needed (e.g., taking clients to appointments or therapy) (NOT APPLICABLE FOR NON-DRIVERS)
• Continence care

• High school diploma or GED required
• HHA or CNA certification
• For non-certified,
