The
Technician () position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry. The position is primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our labor force is accountable for addressing the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and
professionalism. The position is accountable for preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site.
Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesWork safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or moldPerform cleaning process for both contents and structural damage, as neededRemoval of contents for cleaning or destruction. Pack outs and pack backsDemolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power toolsClean up assigned job sites after demolitionPerform initial site visitsConduct moisture inspectionsSet restoration equipment within guidelinesResponsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipmentResponsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipmentKeep equipment clean and organized in the shopResponsible for unloading trash in assigned areasResponsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assignedPass IICRC certifications as IICRC classes are offeredHold our company’s Vision, Values, Mission and 10 Serving Basics throughout job positionValid drivers licenseAll other duties as assignedCompetency –
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
