Location: Greater SudburyToromont Cat is looking for a Shop Technician, Heavy Equipment to join our team! As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for servicing a particular line of Caterpillar equipment and components in our shop. Your day will include planning, trouble shooting and repairing, as well as, preparing necessary service reports for customers. We are looking for people who are interested in diverse product range.

Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiativesDiagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipmentRepair and service Caterpillar and all heavy equipment within the established standardsPrepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely mannerMaintain excellent customer relations through frequent communicationUndertake assignments as required in support of customer needsMust-haves for this role:
Minimum post-secondary educationValid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician or 310T License relative to this position, following Provincial standardsMinimum 3-5 years of working experience as a TechnicianExperience with heavy construction or mining equipment a strong assetAbout Toromont Cat
