The OpportunityWe are currently seeking Millwrights / Industrial Mechanics to join our Maintenance Department team in Sudbury, Ontario. Relocation will be required for this role. This is a permanent on-site position working shift and supporting a 24‑hour operation. This posting is for an existing position vacancy.
As a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing and dismantling equipment to inspect and maintain equipment. Your experience and skills will contribute to interpreting instructions, sketches, drawings, templates, work orders, welding procedures, and data sheets related to work assignments in either the shop or field.
Responsibilities- Install, dismantle, assemble, construct, erect, move, replace, inspect, adjust, maintain, and repair mechanical and process equipment and structures throughout mines and plants.
- Install, inspect, service, and test hoisting ropes and shaft conveyances.
- Perform metal welding excluding pressure welding.
- Align with work safety policies and safety regulations.

- Trade Certification in Millwright/Industrial Mechanic 433A Red Seal (Certificate of Qualification) is required.
- Minimum grade 12 completed or GED is required.
- Minimum 4 years of industrial experience is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical principles is preferred.
- Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, mechanical drives, conveyor systems, pumps, overhead cranes) is considered an asset.
- Oxy acetylene cutting and burning is considered an asset.
- Mechanical and hydraulic blueprint reading is considered an asset.
