IntroductionWe are seeking a Site Account Manager to join our Sales & Services team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long term relationships with key decision makers at customer sites, which involves promoting Metso’s value adding offering and driving profitable business growth across allocated sites. Your role plays a crucial part in strengthening customer satisfaction and developing healthy, sustainable business relationships, which will positively impact our market presence and customer loyalty.
In this position, you will report to the Key Account Manager / Sales Manager. This position is mainly located in Timmins, Ontario, however, it involves up to 60% travel to local customer sites.
Team you belong toYou will join a team of sales and mining industry professionals dedicated to delivering customer value and enabling sustainable growth in our aftermarket business. We are currently developing site level account strategies, cross functional sales initiatives, and customer satisfaction improvement activities. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as service teams, aftermarket specialists, engineering teams, and key customer contacts.

- Drive profitable business growth from assigned customer sites.
- Build and maintain relationships with key site level stakeholders and share insights across the organization.
- Focus on aftermarket sales while identifying and communicating capex opportunities to the sales team.
- Maintain visibility of all Metso activities at customer sites and coordinate the best resources for customer facing needs.
- Understand customer operations and clearly articulate Metso’s added value.
- Lead site account planning, including budgeting, strategy, sales roadmaps, and activity planning.
- Maintain and communicate updates on installed base, equipment performance, and shutdown schedules.
- Lead customer satisfaction surveys, closed loop follow ups, and continuous improvement actions.
- Support accounts receivable processes and payment collection.
- Act as an active contributor to the market area Key Account team.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Trade Qualification, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 5+ years of successful experience meeting sales targets in the mining or similar heavy industry.
- Intermediate understanding of accounting concepts such as P&L, budgets, and gross margins.
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time to customer sites.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
- Strong selling, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
