Responsibilities- Responsible for supporting multi-disciplinary plant designs across various projects from concept to detailed design and execution.
- Develop complete mechanical and/or structural designs, including 3D Models, GA and Layout and Detail Drawings.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering teams on designs and drawings.
- Check drawings to ensure compliance with industry drafting standards.
- Create design drawings and problem-solving concepts by investigating and analyzing specific issues.

- The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
- Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
- Minimum eight years of mechanical or structural design experience in the mining environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technologist with equivalent experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, Civil 3D, Revit 3D modeling.
- Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience developing and checking engineering drawings and documentation.
- Hydraulic system design and electrical comprehension an asset.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Must be a collaborative team player.
- Experience with plant design and ensuring required access for construction/maintenance an asset.
