As a dispatcher in the field of road transport, you are the indispensable support of our team at the Weiterstadt site. Your role is extremely versatile:
You actively support the road department in the operational processes of our land transport. You are the interface between customers and our operations team and ensure a smooth flow of deliveries.
- Experience:
Professional experience as dispatcher in national and international transport is an advantage - Know-how:
Knowledge of land transport is required; knowledge of sea and air freight is a big plus. - Languages:
Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English skills (for international correspondence). - Skills:
Organizational talent, structured and conscientious working style, teamwork ability, and a strong service orientation. - IT
Skills:
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally experience with a CRM system.
- Your
Main Responsibilities: - Operations Support (Focus on Road Transport)
- Order Handling:
Recording, monitoring, and documenting road transport orders (LTL/FTL). - Coordination:
Close cooperation with carriers and hauliers to ensure punctual pick-up and delivery. - Document Management:
Creation and control of all relevant transport documents (e.g., waybills, delivery notes). - Troubleshooting:
Processing irregularities and handling ad-hoc requests in the daily road transport operations. - Education:
Successfully completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Shipping Agent / Forwarder Road Freight, Bürokaufmann/-frau, or comparable qualification). - Experience:
