Civil Engineering and Pipeline Contractor Project Manager

The RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in water/wastewater, civil engineering, and earthworks to join our team at our Head Office in Sturminster Newton.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver contracts on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Take full ownership and responsibility for each contract.
- Prepare resourced cost plans and programmes prior to project commencement.
- Promote best practices across financial management, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, and engineering processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
- Continuously review and challenge production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and value.
- Provide support and guidance to site teams, ensuring adherence to company procedures throughout project delivery.
- Ideally hold a Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), or NVQ 6 or higher.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong understanding and competence in Health and Safety practices.
- Full, current UK driving licence.
- Significant experience managing all aspects of civil engineering projects, including pipelines, drainage, concrete works, piling, earthworks, utilities, and river works.
- Strong site management experience and the ability to manage budgets and programmes are essential, along with excellent communication skills for liaising and negotiating with client representatives at senior levels.
