• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with questions about products.
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
