• Conduct impactful mental health assessments that lead to real support
• Build individualized care plans that stabilize and empower
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy focused on trauma, recovery, coping skills, and personal growth
• Work collaboratively with custody staff, probation, and medical teams
• Link individuals to community services upon release
• Maintain accurate, meaningful documentation
• Stay current with best practices in correctional behavioral health

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Active licensure (LPC, MSW, or equivalent required)
• Experience with justice-involved or high-risk populations is a plus
• Independent, compassionate, and steady clinical mindset
• Cultural humility and emotional resilience
• Ability to build trust in a structured, secure environment
• Bonus points for correctional/forensic mental health certifications
• Psych nurses with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
