Apply for the Behavior Technician role at LEARN Behavioral
. Join a team committed to supporting children with autism and special needs through evidence‑based applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Provide play‑based ABA therapy to support children’s communication, socialization, and self‑help skills.
- Assist with physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run as client needs require.
- Follow ABA protocols and document progress.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age 21 on or before first day of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Availability for a consistent weekly schedule (mornings, afternoons, evenings).
- Strong desire to help children with autism, compassion, empathy, and enthusiasm.
- Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
- Physical ability to sit on floor, stoop, stand, walk, run; push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds.
- Plus: bilingual English/Spanish; background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or related field; experience working with children (e.g., babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor).
- Full‑time: up to 15 days paid time off after 90 days; starting pay $22/hr and up with experience.
- Part‑time: eligible for sick leave.
- Potential to earn Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Opportunity for promotion within 3 months after mastering ABA.
