Agency Social Worker - Adult Locality team Gloucestershire County Council

Our client, Gloucestershire County Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its adult social care Locality team based in Stroud. This role will last 3 months initially, paid at £35 per hour  mileage incentives available up to £150. The role will involve the following:
Full-time post based at Redwood House, Stroud. Our Social Worker must be able to listen hard to the people of Gloucestershire, to understand what really matters and to connect them to resources that help them continue with their chosen life, either with support or independently. You will also be working with individuals to help them to regain control of their lives in a crisis.

We use the Three Conversation approach, a model that re-emphasises focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them. Strengths-based approach Care Act assessments Section 42 safeguarding enquiries Mental Capacity assessments £150 Accommodation / mileage weekly allowance (T&C’s) Capped caseloads at 25 Guaranteed minimum 3-month placement (subject to renewal) Remote / agile working:
Localities - first 2 weeks in the office for a robust induction; thereafter a maximum 2/3 days per week in Gloucestershire to undertake visits / meetings / supervision. Please let me know if you are interested? Or can you refer a friend for £250 if placed? Requirements of the role:
