We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join our dedicated Families First team in Stroud.

In our recent inspection in June 2025, our Children’s Services were officially judged as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ elements. About the RoleWorking as a Family Support Worker is an exciting, interesting, and rewarding role. Your aim will be to deliver targeted support to vulnerable children and their families to achieve better outcomes, reducing the need for higher level support and long‑term demand for services.
You will undertake assessments and co‑ordinate and deliver interventions using a solution‑focused approach. By building supportive and empowering relationships with families, you will engage parents through creative and innovative strategies, in line with partner agencies and organisations.

About YouWe are looking for individuals with experience in working with children, young people, families, and communities.
Experience with multi‑agency assessments and plans is essential.
A full driving licence and access to a car are required, and the role may involve working some evenings and weekends.
