Relief Head Chef

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic relief Head Chef to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Catering.
As an Area Support Chef, you’ll:Provide operational chef cover across multiple sites in Dublin, Kildare, and Longford
, supporting annual leave and sick leaveDeliver a consistent, high-quality catering service in line with Sodexo standards, SLAs, and KPIs
Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, HACCP, COSHH, and statutory regulations
Manage food preparation, ordering, stock control, and portion control in line with budget and food cost targets
Support and train kitchen teams to ensure high standards of service, hygiene, and performance
Assist with special functions and ad hoc events, including night shifts and weekend cover (shift allowance paid for night work)
Formal Culinary qualifications QQ Level 6 and above
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety
Flexible, organised, and customer-focused approach
IOSH / HACCP certification (desirable)
