Gloucestershire (commutable from Gloucester, Worcester, Tewkesbury, Ledbury, Hereford and surrounding areas)

Package: £48,000 - £50,000 + Enhanced Overtime + Bonus

Shift: Monday - Friday (Double Days)

Zest have teamed up with a highly established manufacturing company. Due to a growth in the business, they are now looking to take on an experienced engineering team leader to manage the day‑to‑day operations on site.

• Working closely with the engineering manager to lead and manage the day‑to‑day running of the maintenance team.
• Attend both planned and reactive maintenance of food processing machinery.
• Provide support and guidance to engineers and the operations team.
• Offer support and guidance on breakdowns and backing when needed.
• Complete shift handovers, update breakdown boards, and create reports for effective transitions.

• City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience managing others in a fast‑paced production environment, including performance management.
• Background in working with food or manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
