Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and related software for surveying and mapping projects.
- Interpret survey data to create accurate plans, sections, and elevations.
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.
- Maintain and update drawing libraries, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Support project delivery by preparing technical documentation and reports.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and other CAD software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D).
- 2+ years of experience as a CAD Technician, ideally in surveying, construction, or geospatial sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of geospatial data and surveying principles (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Out-of-hours working:
Rare, but flexibility may be needed to meet project deadlines. - Qualifications:
A relevant degree or certification in CAD, surveying, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
