Senior Power Builder Application Developer

Position Summary

Foundation Software, provider of construction software and services and one of Northeast Ohio's top workplaces, seeks a permanent, full-time Senior Power Builder Application Developer for continued development and maintenance of our accounting software system. The position involves analysis, coding, debugging, troubleshooting and testing, using MS SQL Server and Power Builder. You will work closely with project managers and the QA team.

• Develop software according to end user requirements and quality standards.
• Debug the system and make necessary program design modifications, as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and other team members.
• Attend planning and design meetings.
• Assist in troubleshooting the application.
• Mentor other developers as needed.
• Perform all duties in a professional, responsive and collaborative manner with coworkers and supervisors.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server and Power Builder
• Experience with Appeon Power Server 2021 a plus
• , C# or Delphi experience helpful, but not required
• Possess troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal cross‑functional teams, leadership and external clients
