The coordinator is the first person guests interact with at each visit, creating a positive first impression. Guests include those with appointments, those researching enrollment, or shopping for Aveda products. The coordinator checks guests in, completes necessary paperwork, calls the student, answers questions about products and loyalty programs, schedules future visits, keeps the retail area clean and organized, and consults with guests to recommend suitable products.

Responsibilities
  • Check guests in and complete required paperwork.
  • Call scheduled students and confirm appointments.
  • Answer questions about Aveda products and loyalty program.
  • Schedule future visits and advise guests accordingly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front retail area.
  • Consult with guests to understand concerns and recommend appropriate products.

  • Excellent communication skills and problem‑solving ability.
  • Above‑average math skills.
  • Loves people and is multi‑tasking.
  • Ability to stay busy during down times.
  • Warm, welcoming personality and positive outlook.

  • Professional phone skills; courteous phone etiquette.
  • Detail‑oriented: paperwork, filing, appropriate daily documentation.
  • Team‑oriented; ready to work with teammates and count on each other.
  • Math skills: count change, reconcile drawer, fill out deposit information.
  • 1 year of retail or customer service success.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Excel and computer skills: appointment scheduling, email, etc.
  • Flexible schedule when necessary.
