Cleaner – Offices, 69-73 Victoria Street, Stromness

Applications are invited from motivated individuals to undertake cleaning duties at the above establishment. You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning activities following written procedures and using your own initiative where necessary.

1.5 hours per day worked Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 5:00pm (4.5 hours per week).

£28,192 - £28,462 pro rata / £14.61 - £14.75 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance).

Duties include the use of powered cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners to ensure the premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. This is a lone working position with keyholder responsibilities.

Minimum of 1 year experience of cleaning duties in a home or commercial environment. Knowledge and use of cleaning equipment both manual and electrical is required.
