Job Description & How to Apply Below

This is a varied, technically interesting role at the heart of Green Marine's subsea services division. You will support the readiness and deployment of our subsea asset portfolio — helping to ensure ROVs, survey systems and subsea tools are maintained, integrated and prepared for contracted scopes of work.

Working alongside our Business Development and Proposals teams, you will provide technical input that supports our ability to win and deliver projects. You will help coordinate offshore campaigns, liaise with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure client deliverables are completed on time and to specification.

We are looking for an ambitious, technically competent professional who is ready to take on real responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a key role within a dynamic and expanding subsea division — with the support of an experienced team around you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance, readiness and deployment of Green Marine's subsea asset portfolio — including ROVs, survey systems and subsea tools — ensuring assets are fully prepared for contracted scopes of work.
  • Plan and oversee the mobilisation of equipment to Green Marine vessels, ensuring all integration requirements are met prior to offshore operations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with offshore teams including ROV pilots, vessel masters, tether handlers, surveyors and DVR (Digital Video Recorder) operators to prepare for and execute offshore campaigns.
  • Attend offshore operations as required to provide on-site project management and technical oversight for complex or high-value scopes.
  • Review and deliver contract deliverables to clients — typically ROV video footage overlaid with sensor, time and project data.
  • Produce and review operational procedures, method statements and mobilisation documentation.
  • Work closely with the Proposals team to provide technical input, asset information and company statistics for RFQs, tenders and client portal submissions.
  • Assist with the preparation of pricing and quotations, drawing on your technical understanding to accurately scope works.
  • Manage a small team, subcontractors and suppliers — assigning tasks, monitoring progress and maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Support the development of promotional materials and contribute to trial operations as Green Marine continues to grow its subsea capabilities.
  • Represent Green Marine professionally in all client-facing and third-party interactions.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 3–6 years' experience in subsea operations, ROV operations, marine surveying, or offshore project coordination.
  • Practical understanding of ROV systems, survey equipment and/or subsea tooling — whether through direct operation or project support.
  • Demonstrable project coordination experience — managing tasks, timelines and third-party suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Ability to liaise with offshore teams including ROV pilots, vessel masters, surveyors and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with contract deliverables in a subsea context, such as overlaid video footage or sensor data reports.
  • Willingness to contribute to operational procedures, proposal input and pricing documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing workloads and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible, proactive approach to working hours and travel, including occasional offshore deployments.
  • Valid ENG1 seafarer medical certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to offshore work).
What Would Set You Apart
  • Sensor integration experience — this is a growing and strategically important area of our service offering and is highly attractive to us.
  • BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) certification.
  • STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) qualification.
  • Experience with DVR systems or subsea survey data processing.
  • Involvement in mobilisation planning and vessel integration for subsea assets.
  • Experience working within QHSE frameworks in an offshore or marine environment.
  • Exposure to business development support — e.g. contributing to RFQ responses or capability statements.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary depending on experience.
  • Primarily office-based role in Orkney…
