Warehouse Manager

Overview

Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading a team of 5–10 employees to ensure accurate and timely movement, storage, and shipment of materials across two nearby facility locations. This role provides direct leadership to outsourced shipping dock personnel, the finished goods shipping team, and material handlers supporting both sites. Desire outcomes will be to drive organization, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement throughout all material-handling processes while ensuring proper transactions are entered within the ERP system.

• Lead and coordinate material movement teams across two facilities.
• Supervise outsourced shipping dock operations and finished goods shipping.
• Train employees to handle, move, and store parts safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all material transactions are completed accurately in the ERP system.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe material-handling areas.
• Communicate with internal departments to support production needs and improve material flow.
• Drive continuous improvement in organization, efficiency, and accuracy.

• Interviewing, Hiring, Discipline, Performance Reviews

• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or material handling.
• Strong understanding of material flow, inventory processes, and warehouse best practices.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and material transactions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across two locations.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Knowledge of 5S lean principles or process-improvement methodologies.
• Forklift certification or material-handling equipment experience.

• Primarily onsite across two local facilities.
• Requires regular walking, standing, and interaction with warehouse environments.
• Occasional lifting of materials as needed.
• Ability to drive forklift as needed.

• Safety glasses must be worn in all manufacturing areas. Hearing protection must be worn in all areas posted and is optional in unmarked areas.
