Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in school psychology
• Valid Ohio educational certificate/license to practice as a school psychologist
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
• Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Board may find appropriate, or acceptable

Essential Functions:

A. Conducts evaluations of students identified or thought to have a disability.

B. Participates in the creation and discussion of the evaluation team report.

C. Provides staff, students, and parents with resources such as mental health activities and referrals to outside agencies.

D. Maintains student records and progress reports and shares the records with the appropriate staff.

E. Provides counseling to parents and students.

F. Effectively communicates student progress and issues to parents.

G. Consults with District administrators to create educational evaluations and accountability procedures.

H. Assists staff in modifying instructional and intervention strategies to meet the needs of all students.

I. Reports instances of suspected child abuse and/or neglect to law enforcement.

J. Participates in professional growth activities.

K. Complies with all District policies and procedures.

L. Performs other functions as assigned.

Salary:

• Salary schedule placement commensurate with experience and training as per the negotiated agreement.
