Construction Project Superintendent - Traveling U.S.

Salary Range: $90K - $140K Permanent Position with Benefits

Seeking to hire a traveling Construction Project Superintendent to provide jobsite supervision throughout 17 states in the Midwestern and Eastern United States. Per Diem and company paid housing near job sites is provided.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
• Must be willing to travel 95% or more in the Eastern United States (typically home on a monthly basis)
• Experienced in erecting new buildings and redevelopment construction of historic buildings, industrial, manufacturing buildings, labs and multifamily residential projects.
• 5 or more years' of construction experience as a Superintendent on the construction jobsite
• Responsibility for the project site with a focus on safety, quality, budget, design input and schedule
• Monitor building costs, monitor budget and update organized reporting status
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, maintain quality and provide input to the design team for project installation issues
• Knowledge of construction safety and maintain subcontractor relationships
• Hold subcontractor weekly status meetings, track meeting minutes to document, reporting issues to Project Manager.
• Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements as well as progress documentation concrete, foundation, and precast installs
• Attend meetings on construction bid reviews and buy-out team efforts for material and sub-contracted services
• Manage project team members and support staff in building development
• Familiar with project management principles, methods and techniques
• Experience with PROCORE project management software, Microsoft Project Schedule and CPM analysis is a plus
