Job title: Senior Accountant
Location: On-site in Streetsboro, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities (Senior Accountant):

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and journal entries

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes

• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger

• Analyze financial data and trends to support business planning

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)

• Coordinate and support internal and external audits

• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters

Qualifications (Senior Accountant):

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP)

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Effective communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred or required depending on employer)

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Experience with financial reporting and audits
