Maintenance Technician; Client - Streamwood, IL

Full-Time | Early Shift (4:00 AM – 12:30 PM) | Monday–Friday (Occasional Saturdays)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping equipment running at peak performance? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team and play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

With over 96 years of experience, Randolph Packing Co. in Streamwood, IL, is an industry leader in manufacturing high-quality fresh, cooked, and smoked "Old World Style" ethnic sausage, specialty sausage, and sausage-related products.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
• Repair or replace faulty components to restore equipment performance
• Support the installation and start-up of new equipment
• Use electrical testing and measuring instruments to identify and resolve issues
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment failures
• Track and manage spare parts usage
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of:
• Industrial electrical wiring and 3-phase systems up to 480V
• AC/DC motors and motor controls
• PLCs, drives, and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift in a manufacturing environment
• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier loads with assistance)
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
• Manual dexterity for tools and precision work
• Good vision (with or without corrective lenses)

• First shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Monday–Friday;
  Saturdays as needed
• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) - $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
