THERAPIST - Registry PHP/IOP at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System

• Perform social service functions, including assisting clients in meeting their bio‑psycho‑social needs.
• Provide crisis intervention, individual therapy, short‑term family therapy, group therapy, treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Serve as an integral member of the treatment team, providing case management of consumer’s internal/external support systems.
• Respond effectively to requests for information on a wide range of human service needs.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and a thorough understanding of the State of Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Act.
• Work effectively with patients of any age population, understanding normal growth and developmental stages.
• Possess knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.

• Master’s Degree in a related mental health field.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a behavioral health care facility, with direct experience in individual, family and group therapies, crisis intervention and treatment skills, primarily with the child/adolescent population.

• LPC/LSW required.
• LCPC/LCSW preferred.
• Candidate may pursue designation of Clinical Psychologist in lieu of referenced licenses.
