Quality Inspector - Senior

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs in-process fabrication examinations including but not limited to ASME BPE, B31.3, ASME Section 8, 3-A Standards and customer specifications and document examinations.
• Interprets including but not limited to ASME BPE, B31.3, ASME Section 8, 3-A Standards, customer specification, fabrication drawings, calculations, and weld procedures.
• Verifies documentation for projects and correctly turns over to documentation department for assembly of the “Customer Turn over Package”.
• Coordinates and organizes and schedules third‑party inspections as needed.
• Writes Weld Procedures, Quality SOPs, and Shop Travelers.

Performs duties as assigned by Supervisor.

At least 5 – 7 years experience in welding and fabrication of ASME Section VIII pressure vessels, 3‑A Sanitary tanks and piping, BPE pharmaceutical tanks and piping, and B31.3 Process piping are required. A thorough understanding and ability to use all Microsoft Word Office applications is a definite plus. Must display strong listening, planning, organization, negotiation and presentation skills; as well as demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure, calipers and micrometers.
