Qualified candidates whose work, teaching, and research focus on the areas of gut microbiome, Crohn’s disease, nutrigenomics, nutrition therapy counseling, plant nutrition, and diabetes are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will also serve as the Director of the Institute for Health Access and Advancement.
Qualifications- Assistant Professor:
Ph.D., MD/Ph.D., or equivalent in Nutrition or a related field with a record of research accomplishment. - Associate Professor/Professor:
Established research program with extramural funding history. - Potential to develop and maintain a funded research program complementary to the Department of Internal Medicine.
- Research‑intensive position with teaching responsibilities for graduate and medical education in nutrition courses.
- Develop and conduct research in nutrition, gut microbiome and related areas.
- Secure external funding and manage research grants.
- Teach graduate and medical nutrition courses.
- Serve as Director of the Institute for Health Access and Advancement.

Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $100,060 – $138,325 (Pay Transparency Act).
