** Stratford Wisconsin**.The role of our Manufacturing Engineer is to plan, design, arrange, change, and optimize manufacturing processes.  This position will create, develop, document, and implement procedures required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture the products of A&B Process Systems.  With the use of ERP (enterprise resource planning) software JDE analyze material and labor burden costs, perform or  make vs buy exercise, recommend new equipment.  

Facilitate the request for capital expenditure projects, complete ROI analysis.  This position is also responsible for providing leadership through RCI (Relentless Continuous Improvement) and safety and vision of the Manufacturing Engineering department.  The Manufacturing Engineer  will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
** Among other tasks, here’s what you’ll be doing as Manufacturing Engineer:
**** Duties/Responsibilities**:
* Develop, evaluate, improve, document and standardize manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.  + Determine appropriate methods for fabricating and joining materials.  + Analyze, recommend, and implement manufacturing process flows for enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.  + Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.  

+ Research and recommend equipment needs and arrangement to ensure efficient and effective production methods.  + Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.  + Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials;

conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.  + Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
* Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
* Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environment.
