Dental Assistant

Overview

Stratford - Modern Dental Care, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, aims to provide quality dental and personal care in a relaxed, welcoming environment. We strive to satisfy our patients and deliver exceptional care across Connecticut. We are seeking a Part-time Dental Assistant who is motivated, a strong team player, and able to multitask.

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the day’s charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates, pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Superior customer service skills

• Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Stratford, CT
• Available To Work During Current Office Hours
  • Tuesday - 9am-5pm
  • Thursday - 8am-4pm
  • Friday - 9am-5pm
  • Every other Saturday - 8am-2pm

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification
