Job overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Stratford Upon Avon.

This is a full-time, permanent position following If you have proven MIG welding experience in a production setting and a strong commitment to quality and safety, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities

* Weld production:
Execute high-standard MIG welding on chassis parts and assemblies using jigs and fixtures.

* Technical interpretation:
Work from technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure products meet precise specifications.

* Quality control:
Carry out pre- and post-weld inspections to ensure structural integrity and a high-quality finish.

* Production targets:
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

* Safety and maintenance:
Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.

* Team collaboration:
Work closely with the wider production team to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process.

Skills and qualifications

* Proven experience as a MIG Welder, ideally within production environment.

* Proficient in using jigs and fixtures for repeatable and accurate welding.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

* A reliable and punctual team player with good communication skills.

* Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.

Working hours and pay

* Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour.

* Weekly hours: 39 hours per week.

* Shift pattern:

* Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

* Friday: 8:00 a.m.–13:00 p.m. (early finish)

Benefits

* Contract type:
Full-time, permanent position after a successful temporary-to-permanent period.

* Holiday allowance: 22 days holiday plus all Bank Holidays (once permanent).

* Equipment:
All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools are supplied.
