Job Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing operation. This role is key to ensuring all products meet required quality standards before leaving the factory. You will be working closely with production teams to identify issues, maintain standards, and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products

* Use a range of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Identify non-conformances and record inspection results accurately

* Raise quality issues and support root cause investigations

* Work closely with production to resolve quality concerns in a timely manner

* Ensure all inspections are completed in line with company procedures and customer requirements

* Maintain a clean and organised inspection area

Skills and Experience Required

* Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment

* Confident using handheld measuring equipment (Micrometer, Verniers etc)

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings

* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

* Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes is desirable
